Dr. Rosenblatt is a board-certified psychiatrist who is also board certified in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Rosenblatt attended and graduated cum laude from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He attended graduate school at George Washington University, where he obtained a Master of Public Health degree in International Health as well as a Master Degree in International Affairs. He has worked in the international medical field and has traveled to Tanzania, Thailand, Honduras and other countries performing international health work.
Dr. Rosenblatt attended medical school at George Washington University. He completed his psychiatry residency at George Washington University Hospital. He had worked as a staff psychiatrist at Whitman Walker Health in Washington, DC where he focused on LGBTQ psychiatry and provision of psychiatric services for HIV positive individuals. He has worked as medical director of a Federally Qualified Health Center where he oversaw the full behavioral health department. He also has psychiatric admission privileges at several area hospitals including Washington Hospital Center and Holy Cross Hospital.
Dr. Rosenblatt has formed lasting relationships with individuals in the recovery community in Washington, DC and the surrounding areas. Throughout his practice, Dr. Rosenblatt has worked extensively with individuals facing drug and alcohol addiction and started Vive Treatment Centers because he recognized the need for a compassionate, evidence based person-centered approach to treatment.
Dr. Rosenblatt has also been trained in treatments for treatment resistant depression including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) and works to provide these services at outside facilities.
Dr. Rosenblatt is active in the American Psychiatric Association and since 2021 has served as the Deputy Representative for the Caucus of LGBTQ psyshiatrists in the association.
